Stuart Trotter
2008 - Stuart Trotter becomes Rupert’s new storywriter, illustrator and colourist. Stuart, a life-long Rupert fan, has previously illustrated such children’s favourites as Postman Pat, Winnie The Pooh and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Freddie Chaplain
From the early 50s, Freddie Chaplain edited and produced the Rupert annual and also took over writing the Rupert Adventure Series comics. When Alfred Bestall retired in 1965, Chaplain took over writing the daily Rupert adventures until retiring in 1978
